What is the Pomodoro Technique?
A time management method where you work in focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) followed by short breaks, helping maintain concentration and avoid burnout.
Why 25 minutes specifically?
25 minutes was the original interval chosen by the technique's creator, Francesco Cirillo, in the late 1980s — short enough to maintain focus, long enough to make real progress. Feel free to adjust it to what works for you.
Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?
No — the timer only runs while the tab is open. Keep it open in the background if you want it to keep counting.
